floundering in the vagaries
We can always be more or less isolated by how much we focus on isolated fragments of time, as if much of life isn't spent enduring and getting through. The privilege inherent in the assumption that civilization is owed to us and the degree to which ecology and economy can be weaponized are the problems, not lack of freedom. Freedom exists in the continuity of empathy and gratitude and the beauty in all the little broken things.
